We are excited to share that Natalie Dormer has been cast to play our visionary co-founder Dr. Audrey Evans in the upcoming film, Audreys Children!
As the co-founder for the first Ronald McDonald House in 1974, she ensured that sick or injured children could stay close to their families. And, not only that, but over the course of her 60 year career in pediatric oncology, she decreased mortality rates for neuroblastoma by more than 50% and established her legacy as a pioneer in the study and treatment of childhood cancer.
Dr. Evans has dedicated her entire life to serving the needs of children and families. Throughout her career, Dr. Evans noticed that families had nowhere to stay while their kids were being treated and she was determined to change that by creating a home away from home – the Ronald McDonald House.
We can’t wait to see the story of Audrey’s legacy on the big screen! ❤️ Learn more about the film at www.audreyschildren.com.
