What do we do?

The Ronald McDonald House of Danville provides families with sick children a warm, safe, and comfortable place to eat and sleep keeping them close to the care they need, when they need it the most. These services help reduce stress, financial burdens, and help strengthen their coping abilities.

The Ronald McDonald House of Danville also extends caring arms beyond the doorstep to support cancer children by providing a fun and safe camping experience at Camp Dost. For one week, our precious campers are away from a clinic setting and are able to experience nature and bond with other campers.

In 2017 Ronald McDonald House of Danville built the Ronald McDonald Family Room, located outside the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital. The Family Room offers parents of critically ill children a place to eat, sleep, and regroup within the hospital while being just steps away from their child’s bedside.
